North Dakota can show the way

It’s an honor to serve the citizens of Fargo. I do my best to work with a wide spectrum of people to help make Fargo a more family friendly place where people want to come to live, work, learn, and play.

I believe serving in the ND legislature concurrent to my position as a Fargo Commissioner will help achieve this goal to offer even more opportunities for people to thrive in our great state, serving the people as I do now, in a non-partisan manner.   I will listen, learn, and help make the best ideas win.

Now that’s a beautiful spot for a sign

Fargo has helped lead the way in North Dakota demonstrating that conservation saves and pays. I will work to help our state develop more of our resources in a clean, efficient, and sustainable manner.

Fargo and North Dakota are currently in a strong financial situation, but we have to make decisions on how to best invest our resources towards the highest priorities to make the most efficient use of current public assets and existing infrastructure and buildings.

To me, the highest priorities for the city and state are public health and safety, investing state revenues for world class education and property tax relief, infrastructure of roads, water, dikes and comprehensive water management.

I believe we need to consider and compare projects and their opportunity costs to help make our best public investments.  Working together across the state, North Dakota’s future’s so bright, we have to wear shades!

We all do better when we all do better!
