The "Winds of Change" is a one of a kind music event Sept 4th at the Roland Dille Center for the Arts at the MSUM campus is the dream child of ND native Ilona Pederson of the Kammermusiker Double Reed Ensemble of New York City The theme of the event is Wind power/Wind music as both are forms of incredible energy derived from the very air we breathe.
The New York Kammermusiker, Directed by Ilonna Pederson, whose musicians have performed in the Vienna Philharmonic, the New York Philharmonic, the Metropolitan Opera, the Munich Bach Orchestra, and for numerous Broadway shows shall provide the evening’s music.Ilona Pederson is a North Dakota native with a passion for helping develop and use more of our clean, home grown, renewable resources. She helped with the renknowned New York City Green Expo and has visited with Mr. T. Boone Pickens often about the potential for wind energy in America, particularily North Dakota.
